Daniel Lloyd Reed (CEng, MSc, MSOE, MIPlantE) has been appointed Managing Director of Aircare Services following the retirement of John Cherry (CEnv, IEng, FIPlantE, FSOE, MInstR) who held the post for 33 years.

Dan, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new post, started at Aircare in January 2007 where he completed his Engineering Apprenticeship during 2008. Sponsored by Aircare, Dan attended Northumbria University and successfully completed his BEng degree in Building Services Engineering in 2013, and he then successfully completed his MSc in Environmental Engineering and Health & Safety at Sunderland University in 2021.

Over the past few years Dan has driven Aircare’s growth as Senior Project and Design Engineer/Director successfully handling turnkey projects up to £1M+ in the pharmaceutical, health, clean room, food processing and manufacturing sectors. Dan’s drive, enthusiasm and work ethic is unsurpassed, and he will be Aircare’s driving force for the next 3 decades.
