Aircare are now an approved supplier and installer for Samsung air conditioning equipment.

The Samsung range includes air conditioning, heat pumps, heating, ventilation and heat recovery equipment for residential and light commercial applications including the “Turbo Jet” range of indoor units that provide a “modern art décor” appearance.

Samsung, a world leader in technology, has high energy efficiency ratings, a mobile app for remote control via the Galaxy range of phones, and is available with a five year warranty.

Over the next several weeks Aircare personnel shall be attending the Samsung design and service training centres for specific product and technical training.

IOR

 

Congratulations to Louise Sharp, Aircare’s General Manager, who has been accepted by the Institute of Refrigeration (IoR) as a full corporate member.  Louise has been on a career development programme, sponsored by Aircare, for the past few years and completed her studies and exams earlier this year.

The IoR is one of the UK’s oldest Institutions (dating back to 1899) and was founded for the science, practice and improvement of refrigeration engineering.  The IoR have a rigorous application process and full membership is granted to suitable professionals working in the Refrigeration and HVAC industry.

Aircare has been awarded the Facilities Management contract for a prestigious Newcastle city centre historic grade listed building.

This three year contract covers all of the building services including HVAC, lighting, fire alarms and sprinklers, domestic water services, and all electrical and mechanical services.

Aircare is providing a resident engineer one day per week and all of the building services management.

Process Chilled Water

Aircare was awarded the contract for the replacement of a process water chiller used for the manufacture of specialist electronic components.

The clients required an ultra-reliable chiller system with reduced energy use and minimum downtime.

The equipment Aircare selected was a Carrier Aqua-Snap water chiller with built-in hydronic module and water pump.  The old water chiller was removed and the new Carrier chiller installed within 12 hours during a weekend minimising the clients production downtime.

Large Multi-Story Office Refit

Aircare has been awarded the contract for the design and installation of a large heating and cooling multi / VRV type system serving a large three story office development in Co Durham.

The clients required an ultra-reliable system, low energy use and minimum installation time.

The equipment Aircare selected are Hyper Inverter heat pumps manufactured by Mitsubishi HI (Europe), these units satisfied all of the client requirements for energy efficiency, capital cost, installation times and occupant comfort.

The systems comprise of 28 in-ceiling cassettes per floor with the associated outdoor heat pump units and services.

Aircare is providing all of the design work, equipment and services, project management, testing and commissioning.  The project is due for completion during July 2016.

Louise Sharp has successfully completed her Environmental Engineering Technologies and F-Gas Certification Training courses.

Louise, who has been at Aircare for the past twelve years and Aircare’s General Manager for the past ten years, has been on a career development programme sponsored by Aircare and attended Polar Training to complete her studies, assessments and exams during April this year.

Louise is now certified to inspect and advise on HVAC and Refrigeration Systems, Energy Saving Solutions and is certified with current F-Gas Legislation.

Listed Historical Victorian Building

Aircare has been awarded the contract for the design and installation of a large heating and cooling system serving open plan and individual offices.

The client requires an ultra-reliable system with low energy use, high occupant comfort, and the system must be acceptable for the historical listed status of the building.

Aircare has designed an air source heating and cooling heat pump VRV multi type system and selected Mitsubishi HI equipment to provide the highest energy efficiency ratings of A+A, and provided an extended warranty and maintenance agreement for “client piece of mind”.

Aircare is providing all of the design work, equipment and services, project management, testing and commissioning.  The project is due for completion March 2016.

CHILLER

 

Controlled Environment Print Room

Aircare has been awarded the contract for the design and installation of a controlled environment room, the room is to be used for the manufacture of specialist printing equipment.

The client requires a controlled environment of 21°C, 50%RH and draft free air distribution.

The specialist system shall incorporate an air handling unit, cooling unit, humidifier, low velocity / low level air displacement units and associated services.

Aircare is providing the design work, cooling equipment and services, testing and commissioning.  The project is due for completion April 2016.

All of the staff at Aircare wish our customers and clients “A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for 2016”.  We would also like to thank all of our clients and customers for their continued support throughout 2015.
