Design and installation of refrigeration equipment, air conditioning and process cooling equipment including quick chill equipment for pasteurised and frozen ready meals.

This involved bringing food from temperatures of over 73 oC to minus 18 oC within 15 minutes to stay in line with Food Health and Safety Regulations.

Custom built refrigeration

Design of industrial air conditioning, ventilation and cellar cooling system for nightclub, bar and café in a Grade 2 listed building.

The building had a capacity of 800 people and due to planning restrictions the plant had to be installed into a concealed attic area.

Custom built air conditioning system

Specialist maintenance and repair of all on site air conditioning equipment in and around the largest UK aluminium smelter site.

This included air conditioning for all the buildings on site, building an air conditioning plant for the site, maintaining vehicle and crane specialist cooling equipment and Alcan’s power station and docks

Maintenance

Refit of 5 storey building comprising offices, press halls and production.

The work involved designing, installing and supplying air conditioning equipment including water chillers, air handling units, 250+ chilled water cassettes and the associated plant.

Because the site was in use as the head office for the Mirror Group all work was carried out in phases so that there was no disruption to the client’s business operations. This often entailed shift work to suit the client’s production timetable

Commercial Air Conditioning

To design, manufacture, supply and install air conditioning equipment in telecommunications rooms. This was in a Grade 2 listed building and required working around planning and site restrictions as well as incorporating heat recovery to conserve power.

Custom built air conditioning system

Design, supply and installation of air conditioning, ventilation and heat recovery plant in a new hotel leisure centre including swimming pool and gym.

Due to the location of the hotel there was a limited electrical supply so we used a heat recovery plant to save up to 80% of lost heat and eliminate condensation build up in the pool area.

Design, supply and installation of all refrigeration and associated plant and equipment for a 1 million cubic foot cold room at -25 oC for food storage.

This included quick chill and blast freezers, spiral freezers, cold rooms, freezer rooms, production areas and loading bays. The system uses screw compressors with economizers and KW demand control to meet client’s limited electric supply

Custom built industrial refrigeration

Maintenance and repair of all air conditioning and heating equipment with heat recovery in an 8 storey office block.

This BMS controlled building uses electricity for all cooling and heating via heat pumps and heat recovery plants.

Maintenance and repair of existing system

Design, supply and installation of air conditioning and ventilation for a nightclub and bar with 1000 people capacity in a listed church conversion.

The air conditioning plant uses displacement air distribution to reduce running costs and overcome planning restrictions

Light Commercial air conditioning system

Design, supply and install all air conditioning and ventilation equipment for retail shops and outlets within the North East.

The client required a heating and cooling system to compliment the decoration within the shops. We installed DX heat pump cassettes with fresh air ductwork to suit the client’s requirements

Design, supply and installation of a low cost heating and cooling system in a retail outlet. It was important to the client that the project be completed quickly and required little plant and equipment areas. We provided a multi heat pump system which met the client’s requirements

Residential Air Conditioning

Design, supply and installation of air conditioning equipment to provide ambient temperatures for patients on hospital wards.

The system we installed uses chilled water cassettes and water chillers. We installed the system using shift work so as to minimise disruption to the hospital and its patients.

Custom built air conditioning system

Design, supply and installation of air conditioning system for aircraft engine component test laboratory.

Due to the sensitive nature of the equipment the client required a temperature control within 1 oC, zero air movement and a cooling load of 200kw. Aircare designed and installed a special diffuser air distribution system and large DX cooling plant.

Design, supply and installation of air conditioning, heating and ventilation system within a hazards area as part of the foundry mixing plant and test rooms.

Aircare provided multiple remote package cooling and heating units to meet the client’s requirements. We also provided all steelwork and ductwork as well as all other site services for the client.
