With Optimum Working Temperature Legislation, Reduced Energy Usage Legislation and Part L Building Regulations, all heating, cooling and ventilation systems must be designed to ensure occupant comfort and minimum running costs, consideration should also be given for heat recovery if available. All of the commercial and most industrial systems designed and installed by Aircare will qualify for ECA - "Enhanced Capitol Allowances" (the Governments tax reduction / rebate scheme).

Ducted Air Systems - These systems use a central cooling and heating plant and provide conditioned air via ductwork, these systems can provide 80% free cooling. Chilled Water - These systems pipe water from a central water chiller / heater to the areas requiring conditioning, these systems can incorporate heat recovery. VRV & VRF - These systems use DX plant and use refrigerant to heat or cool the conditioned spaces, this type of system can simultaneously heat or cool conditioned areas, they can also operate with a COP of up to 5.00 (1kw in 5kw out). Heat Pumps & Geothermal Heating - These systems can provide heating by absorbing heat from the outside air, under the ground, from rivers and streams or unwanted industry process heat, large industrial heat pumps or heat recovery plants usually require design and manufacture and can provide several hundred KW for heating or hot water.
